Moved

June 22, 2007

We have moved to a new site:

t-jelle.com/blog

Sadly the links aren’t working right now (and you wonder why I am moving >_>)

Script Exploit

June 17, 2007

The Lindens announced that an explout had been found that allows people to gain access to scripts that aren’t theirs. A rolling restart is going to fix this….If only I knew sooner (Harbinger products AT HALF THE PRICE when you come to my store! :P )

LindeX Down

June 15, 2007

KindeX from secondlifeinsider.com

The Lindens reported on their blog today that the Lindex will be down until Monday. You can perform transaction online, though you will most likely get annoying errors. All in world buying has been turned off and you get errors when trying to do so. Seems like everything is going haywire over at LL, what with the assest servers, presence issues, Login errors, support issues and Lindex problems…when will things clear up? Only time will tell, meanwhile residents are getting quite annoyed…

Login Error

The login screen is showing an error, but it will not inhibit your login process. The Lindens are working on getting rid of the pest…along with the Lindex pest and the Asset server pest…

LindeX Trouble

The LindeX is goofing up and spitting out errors to almost everyone who tried to use it. The Lindens have posted about it, but no response to as how they are going to fix it or when it might be done…in the meantime, your stuck with the L$ you have.emoticon

More and more problems

June 14, 2007

Along with assest server problems and support portal problems now we have presence issues. The current amount of logged in people is: 0. And my friends only appear online after I IM them or they IM me. Lindens have posted no information about this yet, I am still awaiting a posting on the blog.

Server Crashed

June 13, 2007

I found this tucked away in the blog. One of LL login servers crashed for a while, no one really notices as they quickly re-routed all the traffic to another server. You know, this on top of the Search problems post-mortem is making me think LL is finnaly understanding the importance of speed and communication emoticon. Only time will tell. Anyways, the problem is fixed, but all logins are down for the update…oh well…just keep waiting just keep waiting… emoticon

Search Problems

Damn Search Problems

One of the Lindens finnaly decided the residents should know a little about all of those search problems that was going on for a few days. On the blog Everett Linden posted a lengthy post about everything they found. Mostly saying: This is what happened, this is what we did. It does show some Lindens understand that the residents need to be told about things going on…after all most of us are what allows you to get this weeks paycheck :p

Update Time

Update Time!

Well, the grid is down for updates today. The projected downtime is from 6am till 12pm. A lot of bug fixes, thank god the annoying ones will be gone now.

New Support

May 26, 2007

Well, on May 25th at 10am LL opened the new support portal. What does that mean? If your not premium and you have a problem…good luck. emoticon This is how it works (from secondlife.com)

* Support Availability by Account Type

Billing (outworld currency transactions) support is available for all account types. You will be provided with contact information after going through the Solution Finder. (9am-6pm PST Monday-Friday)

Basic Accounts: If you are a Basic account holder, you have access to our in-depth Knowledge Base and Solution Finder. You do not have access to our Inworld or Outworld support teams. However, we’re constantly improving our Knowledge Base and Solution Finder to assist Residents who are Basic account holders with resolving your issues independently. There are also a few Special Questions** for which we DO provide Basic account holders with ticket access.

Premium Accounts: If you have a premium account with Second Life, you have the ability to submit a support ticket or engage in a text chat session with our Billing, Inworld and Outworld Support teams through the Solution Finder. Live text chat is available for you from 9am-6pm PST Monday-Friday. Please note that we also offer premium support to Lifetime, Beta, Teen Basic, and Basic accounts with LindeX trading tiers.

Concierge Accounts: If you are a Concierge client (with $125 per month or greater in Land fees, mainland or private estate), you have access to all Basic and Premium services (see above) plus a dedicated support team that can be reached by phone, support ticket, and live text chat from 1am-6pm PST Monday-Friday.

So now that is one more reason to be premium! Yay. emoticon
